How to Overcome Your Nerves For a Summer of Lifetime With AmeriCamp

Nerves can often be a big reason for not taking part in a cultural exchange program such as AmeriCamp. So, we’re here to tell you that we understand but we also know everything is going to be fine.

Here’s 5 reasons why flying off to AmeriCamp this summer is an absolute must, and not scary at all!

The people you meet at camp will have completely different life experiences to you and it getting to know and understand these people will enrich your own life!

The more you travel and the more people you know, the more well-rounded you become. Don’t forget, friends you make at camp are friends for life!

2. Changing your scenery

It’s incredibly important for anyone, in particular those leaving sixth form or thinking of going to university, to gain new experiences. What better way to do this than by changing where you are and have been for so long?

There is so much to see and do in the USA, and it’s easy to put it hold for a summer job at Tesco, but is it worth it? Gain those new experiences, grow as a person and challenge yourself.
