Today we are in Franklin, Tennessee! Only 21 miles out of Nashville, Franklin is known for its music, festivals and historical significance in America!

For live music, theatre and movies the Franklin Theatre opened in 1937, refurbished recently, the Franklin Theatre is a cultural icon you must visit if you’re looking for a good night!

With a rich history, the City of Franklin has many Historic Landmarks to see; The Carter family house serves as a memorial to the Battle of Franklin and the Carter family! Another Civil War House is the Carnton House, where the McGavok family converted their home into a hospital to treat soldiers in the Franklin War!
